Conor and Savannah have a new game…..
Every night, he takes her out of the bathtub and takes her upstairs to get PJ’s on while I get her milk.
She’s always enjoyed turning the light switch off, but as her sense of humor has developed, she’s gotten silly about it. Conor would ask her to get the light and she’d touch the screw that holds the light switch plate on and laugh and laugh…..
So, Conor one-upped her. Her would tickle her if she touched the screw. Then, he began saying “And now it’s time to play our dangerous game….” as her got her out of the tub. She gets tickles if she doesn’t turn the light off. But he’s let her make the choice about what she’s going to do.
Now, when I tell Savannah it’s time to get out of the tub, she turns to Conor and says “Time for dangerous game”. She generally goes for 2-3 tickles before she flips the switch.
I know that some toddlers are more difficult than others, but at this point, I can’t imagine a better age than almost two.
