A month or so ago, Savannah and I participated in a fun idea called The Color Run 5K. It’s a 5K where you start out in all white and get pelted with a different color powder each kilometer. We went with some friends of ours and while we had a great time overall, thing didn’t go completely smoothly. The day before the race there was rain and the course turned into a mud pit. It was literally ankle deep in some spots. We had to bug out of K’s 2-4 because the littles just wouldn’t have made it. It was impossible to move in some spots. I also had to retire Savannah’s and my running shoes because they were not salvageable.
BUT we did end up all colored and I loved our groovy headbands. It’s always fun to get pictures like these and spend a morning with friends (no matter how cold and muddy).
