It was a rainy, cloudy day our second day in Port Rush. Honestly, if you’ve ever been to Ireland, that shouldn’t be a surprise. However, the Aunties had told Savannah that the Postman came at 9AM and he brought little girls a bucket and spade so they could make sand castles. (The bucket and spade purchase + the pig wrapping paper was made at night after Savannah went to sleep. I will also mention that they were purchased in two separate trips. The Aunties decided that they really should’ve bought the pig wrapping paper too and headed off to the store again. It IS nice that it was only a block or so away.)
Here she is opening her gift from the Postman.
Then we headed down to the beach – drizzle or not.
A view of Mark Street from the beach
My hair was really bad this entire trip so I am glad this image is not larger. I am glad I showed up in at least a few photos though. (I forgot the hair straightening balm and the converter wasn’t strong enough to power the Chi Ceramic Flatiron – I know. The Horror. )
We headed off later that morning to Dunluce Castle. Read about it HERE. I believe I wrote on Twitter of Facebook that we saw an ancient castle and Savannah just wanted to pick Daisies. This would be the castle I referring to.
