Fun Friday Fact about Me

I cannot read Martha Stewart Living Magazine without my inner monologue sounding JUST like Martha. You know, that judgy, Connecticut accent that she has?

A more important question is why I receive Martha Stewart Living? Well I used to get Blueprint, the most awesome home magazine ever, but it folded and as it was a part of the Martha-Stewart-Omnipedia-Empire, they said I could have Living for the remainder of my subscription. Whatever. I have such a love/hate relationship with this magazine. I love the garden pictures and ideas, but really? Who has the time. It’s such a fantasy. Which makes me hate Martha a little.

POTD and a mom confession

So here is adorable girl with her lollipop. You can also get a good look at her sassy new haircut.

So here’s the confession. No monthly update this month, because honestly it would consist of ‘You WIN OK!’. We have run into the Terrible Two Wall pretty hard lately. Mealtimes are a mess, everything is negotiable and I am tired. We don’t love you any less, but I can’t sum up the last month with a lot more words than I just wrote.

I’m sure I will adjust to this latest phase and be back on the wagon next month.

So Brave

We had a brave Savannah moment last night.

We were at Phil’s (aka ‘the moo’) for dinner. Phil’s has a great playground with some of those closed in slides that twist around. She went down by herself five times! This from the girl that will not go down our backyard slide without holding Mama’s hand.

She even started coming down backwards, in the awesome polka dot skirt and boots seen in the previous post (she picked out that outfit).

So brave (and fashionable).
