We went on a little road trip over to Fredricksburg this past weekend. Here are a few pictures.
Scene 1
“Savannah it’s time to get in your crib”
“No, you (which means herself – we’re still having a little trouble with
pronouns) will fly out of your crib”“And then what”
“You will open your door, cliiiiimb down the stairs and make a waffle with
jelly”“OK, then”
Scene 2 (I have yet another cold, it’s like the 30th one this winter/spring)
“poor Mama”“yes, Mama is sick”
“I will pour you a cough drop” (and then she runs over to the island and
grabs the bag of cough drops and brings me one. CUTE!
Does she look like a little refugee orphan here or what?
Here is Savannah and her neighborhood buddy, Olivia. Man are they cute together. They LOVE being together, I think mostly due to the fact that they are very similar girls. Savannah is always asking what Olivia is doing and when she can see her again. It’s nice that she’s only 5 doors down.
