All Classical Music Has Been Ruined

You have heard me mention the Little Einsteins. What you may or may not know is that Little Einsteins always has classical music in it. Generally, Annie (Savannah’s favorite) will make up a little song that relates back to the plot for the day.

I was shooting a beautiful wedding at The Four Seasons yesterday (see the work blog in a few days for pics) and they had this incredible string quartet that was playing, among other things, Rondo, by Bach. I found myself humming along and singing the words “You can do it, Carmine, you can win the race, because you are an amazing music car!”

Thanks Einsteins.

POTD: My little lady

We had a big week here at Casa Cunningham. Both sets of Gaga’s were here at various points, plus we had Easter, egg hunts, birthday parties, etc to go to. Savannah had a wonderful time, but cried everytime a Gaga left. It was very sad. But certainly not as sad as when we lived in Seattle and our family left.

I’ve been thinking lately how satisfying it is that we live here and will live here for the forseeable future. When we were in Seattle, we always knew we’d come back to Texas, so it was always difficult to plan far into the future. Now we can make long term plans, which is wonderful and refreshing. Roots are good. Austin is good.
