“Are you violin or piano?”

Apparently an important question at The Girls School. I heard Savannah ask several girls this at a birthday party today.

“YOU ARE SO HANDSOME!!!!!!!”

Savannah to Conor anytime that he wears something other than a T-shirt. The girl is a fan of men’s fashion.

“Please send us a picture of yourself tomorrow”

Savannah to Conor upon hearing he would be at a conference this week in Seattle and wearing a dress shirt every day. Seriously, between this and the Project Runway fascination, I’m thinking a sartorial career of some form might be in her future.

Designers, gather round…

I know I’ve mentioned how much I love Project Runway and more specifically Tim Gunn. Well…we have a new fan and her name is Savannah Jane!

We watch the runway portion of the show together and she LOVES it! She also likes ‘that nice man in the suit’ (aka Tim Gunn). She had some opinions on the designs this week. The sound is terrible, but it’s hilarious. Enjoy.

Kindergarten!

Yes! The day is finally here! I am often asked if I am sad that Savannah is growing up. I think my feelings are different from a lot of moms. I never lament that Savannah is getting bigger and changing, because I feel that thinking that way is a disservice to the amazing human she is becoming.

Sure, I miss her chubby thighs and being able to pick her up, but you don’t bring a person into this world in the hopes that they will stay little forever. Babies are super rad, but I couldn’t be prouder of my Kindergartener! It was a very exciting morning.

I should mention in the B&W photo, she is not sad about me leaving, but the fact that we were STILL taking pictures and she couldn’t get inside and play with all those cool tinkering toys that were at her table.

And finally…those uniforms! I know, right?

Gaga - Savannah, you are the cutest Kindergartener ever. You look wonderful in your red and blue. I love you.
