It’s Gaga A’s birthday today! We hope he has a great day.
Gaga A, Savannah wants you to know that when she comes to see you next week, she wants to make a cake with you.
I photographed one of my very best photographer girlfriends the other night and as Conor had a fun man date planned, I just took Savannah along with me. I would NEVER do this with a real client, but my friend didn’t mind a bit. You can see the final results of her shoot on the work blog.
I also got a few great shots of little S. She’s been pretty picky abut the camera lately, so I was excited to get these.
OK, this is totally crappy quality, but you’ll get the general picture of how things went down.

I have two favorite parts – the first is when Miss Joeley, their teacher, lines them up on stage in the dark and all of a sudden I hear Savannah ask “Is that my mom over there?” So cute. We had chatted about me and all the Ga-ga’s and Uncle Damian and Claire sitting in the audience and that concept seemed a little confusing.
The second is at the end when her tiara started falling off. You can’t see it in the video, but her face was hilarious. She was horrified and she didn’t really know what to do, so she did a very gentle spin at the end. You can also hear Conor and Claire and Damian react to the ‘tiara incident’

More to come, but we could not be prouder of our girl. The big dance recital was on Saturday and Savannah had a row of 8 people cheering her on – she was AMAZING!
